If you have an application for a variance, rezoning or subdivision within North Buckhead, you need to attend the following meetings:
1. Onsite visit with NBCA Land Use/Zoning Committee. After you have filed your application with the city, you will receive notice from NPU-B, instructing you to contact your neighborhood association. In the case of North Buckhead, the person you need to contact is Dr. Walda Lavroff. Dr. Lavroff is chair of the NBCA Land Use/Zoning Committee. You will need to forward a complete copy of your application, including the referral certificate from the city and all attachments, to Dr. Lavroff. After you have done this, you will need to make arrangements to meet onsite with the NBCA Land Use/Zoning Committee.
2. Public hearing before NBCA Land Use/Zoning Committee. After you have completed the above, you will be scheduled for a public hearing at the next regular meeting of the NBCA Land Use/Zoning Committee. The Committee normally meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Room S-103. Agendas are published on this website.
3. Do I also need to attend the meeting of the Board of the North Buckhead Civic Association? No, in order to process your application you do not have to attend the meeting of the board of the North Buckhead Civic Association. 4. Public hearings before NPU-B . After you have completed the process outline above with North Buckhead, your application will go back to NPU-B for further consideration. Remember, NBCA is not the same thing as NPU-B. It is your responsibility to coordinate all meetings and other obligations with NPU-B and its various committees.
